Widows and orphans

The regulation of the provisions for death and survival (widows’ and orphans’ pensions) is complex. Sometimes complex enough to require professional advice to make sure that we have effective access to the provision for which the right exists and that it is for the sum we are entitled to and no less.

This expert advice is especially important when the origin of the death that gives rise to the provision is a professional contingency. In such cases we are entitled to full recognition of the situation and any due increases, including the extras that apply when there may have been corporate liability.
